Brand Identity Cleanup for Co-Working & Childcare Startup

The client approached me with an early concept logo they had drafted for their upcoming business—a unique blend of a childcare center and co-working space. They were preparing a formal proposal to present to a bank for funding and needed a polished, professional version of their visual branding. The original design captured the spirit of the business but lacked cohesion and refinement suitable for a formal business presentation.

The Solution

To elevate the brand presentation and help the client make a strong impression, I delivered the following:

  • Logo Refinement: I cleaned up the original graphics, adjusting proportions, smoothing lines, and enhancing visual balance while preserving the original concept.

  • Formal Color Palette: Developed a cohesive color scheme that conveyed warmth, trust, and energy—qualities essential to both childcare and professional environments.

  • Typography & Alternate Logos: Provided a set of curated typography options and additional logo variations to offer flexibility for different brand applications.

  • Secondary Logo Design: Created a complementary logo for the co-working space component to allow for future brand expansion while keeping it visually aligned with the primary childcare focus.

The Outcome

The client left with a polished and professional brand identity ready for presentation in their bank proposal. The updated design clearly communicated the dual purpose of the business while maintaining a playful and approachable tone for the childcare component. The added flexibility of secondary logos and brand elements allowed the client to plan for future growth with confidence and clarity.
